The demand to provide Electronic Data Services such as Cataloguing, Interchange and Buyers guide, to both Counter Personnel and Customers alike is now made possible by the availability of iSERVE. The sole purpose of this product is to drive down the cost of Electronic data whilst opening up a whole world of possibilities by embracing Internet technology. This allows any warehouse, jobber or dealer to utilize a fully AIAA compliant Electronic Catalogue for both internal and external use. In addition, the catalogue data is enriched by extensive interchange and buyers guide components allowing a single product to serve many purposes.

Will it Work with my current system?

The answer to this question is "most likely". The system is designed to operate either as a stand-alone unit or as part of an integrated POS system. The transACTION processor provides a standard program interface that can be readily adapted by almost any software and the non-stop Linux based iSERVE computer will deliver trouble free service to whoever needs it.

Putting you in Control

The system provides the ability to maintain "customer profiles" which determine what functionality and data any individual customer will receive. The standard functionality available, in addition to Cataloguing, is Part's Search, Interchange and Buyers Guide although any individual service can be turned off by customer.

The optional iCONNECT module extends the standard features by providing an Electronic Ordering facility that completes the electronic connection of the supply chain.

How does it work?

"The Internet is the Key"

The iSERVE unit contains a full copy of the electronic databases to ensure the Sales Counter receives fast access to catalogue information. The connection to the Internet provides two functions, inexpensive remote customer access and real-time database updates from , the central server that hosts a central catalogue, FTP services for pricing and other convenience features. This technique allows a dramatic reduction in the time taken to deliver catalogue updates and corrections, in many cases what has been measured in months becomes less than 72 hours.

Cost Effective?

You bet! Gone are the per user or per line fees of the past or the charges to manufacturers to have their data represented in some proprietary catalogue. This is all replaced by a low fee cap, irrespective of how many users or customers, access the data. The best part of all is the fact that your customers will be happier with reduced telephone bottlenecks, 24X7 availability and better service as your counter staff are freed up to deal with issues that do need personal attention.
